Know Before You Go

Venue Information

  • The main event will take place at XYZ Seoul. Navigating the venue is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly. If you need assistance at any point, on-site guides will be stationed throughout, ready to help with directions, answer any questions, or provide additional information.

Airport Information

  • Incheon International Airport (ICN) is located approximately 60 kilometers (38 miles) away from the city. Depending on traffic conditions, the commute from ICN to Seoul typically takes between 1 to 1.5 hours.
  • Taxis are easily accessible—once you exit the Passenger Terminal follow the signs to the taxi stand. There are usually staff at the stand who can direct you to the appropriate taxi for your destination.

Travel Documentation

  • While it may not be strictly required at this time, we recommend that you complete the Korea Travel Form in advance for your convenience. This form may simplify your entry process into South Korea and remains valid for up to 2 years.

    Operates in the area for your convenience.
  • Public Transit

    Efficient and well-connected. Consistently voted as one of the best in the world for its ease of use, cleanliness, and frequency of service, the Seoul subway system is one of the most efficient ways to travel around the city. Learn more about public transportation options.
  • Navigation

    For directions and accurate location of destinations in Seoul, we recommend using the KakaoMap App. Google Maps and Apple Maps may not always be reliable in the area.

Things to do nearby (local attractions & places to shop)

  • Dongdaemun Design Plaza

    This major urban landmark in Seoul, designed by Zaha Hadid and Samoo, is renowned for its neofuturistic architecture. As the centerpiece of South Korea's fashion hub, DDP features a walkable park on its roofs, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores, and restored sections of the Seoul fortress. It also hosts regular fashion shows, exhibitions, and cultural events, making it a vibrant destination for visitors.
  • Namsangol Hanok Village

    Step back in time at Namsangol Hanok Village, an ancient village from the Joseon period (1392-1910), located on the northern side of Namsan Mountain. Opened to the public in 1998, this village offers free admission and features traditional Korean houses (Hanoks), cultural experiences like trying on Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing), and traditional tea ceremonies. It's also a picturesque spot for photography.
  • Bukchon Hanok Village

    Preserved in the heart of modern Seoul, Bukchon Hanok Village offers a unique glimpse into Korea’s past with its well-preserved Hanoks. Walking through the alleyways lined with these historic homes feels like time travel. The village is conveniently situated between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and Jongmyo Shrine, making it an excellent stop for those interested in Korean history and culture.
  • Seoul Forest

    A large park beloved by locals, Seoul Forest is especially popular for its cherry blossoms in Spring and the Ginkgo Tree Forest in Autumn. The park has a rich history, having transitioned from royal hunting grounds to a water treatment facility, horse racing tracks, and now an eco-friendly city park. Visitors can also enjoy a deer park, butterfly conservatory, and various art installations.
  • Garosugil

    Located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, Garosugil is a trendy street filled with the hottest Korean and international brands. It’s a favorite shopping destination for both locals and tourists, offering a wide range of unique stores and chic cafes. The area’s popularity also means you might spot celebrities and social media influencers while exploring.
  • Dosan Park

    Dosan Park in Seoul has emerged as a center of luxury fashion, where world-renowned brands gather. This peaceful green space is named after the Korean independence activist An Chang-ho (pen name Dosan). The surrounding area has become a hub for luxury fashion lovers, with flagship stores from brands like Song Ji-oh, Woo Young-mi, and street brands like Supreme and Palas.
  • Seongsu

    Often dubbed the “Brooklyn of Seoul,” Seongsu has become a creative hub known for its industrial-chic vibe. The area is famous for its pop-up stores, art spaces, and cafes. Spend a day here, and you’re bound to stumble upon multiple pop-up shops and creative events, making it a must-visit for those looking for something unique and trendy.
