More from Code Collision
Get the most out of your hackathon journey with a range of optional in-person and virtual events. Join our Code Jams for casual meetups and brainstorming. Want to just build? Stop by a Code Station for heads-down development. You can also participate in online bootcamps and advanced challenges. While these events are not mandatory, they're recommended as a way to meet other builders and explore the Aptos ecosystem.

Common questions
How does the hackathon work?
The hackathon is primarily online, with registration and submissions managed through DoraHacks. To support ideation and collaboration, Aptos Foundation and some ecosystem partners are hosting a variety of events globally and online. Attending side events is not required to participate in Code Collision or be eligible for a Prize.
What is the difference between Code Jams and Code Stations?
Code Jams are casual meetups for developers to collaborate, brainstorm, and innovate through hands-on workshops and networking. In contrast, Code Stations are structured co-working environments that offer focused development time, support sessions, and interactive learning activities. Both types of events provide opportunities to connect with fellow developers and push your projects forward.
How can I request to host a Code Jam or Code Station in my city?
To request a Code Jam or Code Station in your city, please fill out the request form available on our website. If your proposal is approved, you will receive a grant to host the event. This support will help you organize and facilitate the gathering, bringing the Code Collision experience to your local developer community.
What kind of developer resources will you provide?
Participants have access to a comprehensive developer guide along with the Aptos Developer Docs to aid in the development of their hackathon project, whether you’re a new developer, new to Aptos, or a seasoned builder.
Can I submit projects for more than one track?
Yes, you are welcome to submit a project to a maximum of two tracks. Each submission will be evaluated independently based on its merits. Each submission will also be eligible to win one of the eight special bounties. You may also submit more than one project.
Do I need to know Move to participate?
No, you don't need to know Move to participate. The UI Challenge is a bounty specifically designed for those who don't have experience with Move. Additionally, there will be various events and resources, including boot camps and workshops, to help new developers onboard and learn Move. These resources are designed to support you throughout the hackathon, regardless of your current skill level with Move.
Are you ready for impact?
Connect, code, and collaborate on projects that will resonate across the universe.
