Aptos Network Is Integrating Chainlink Data Feeds and CCIP, and Aptos Foundation Joins Chainlink SCALE Program

Tl;dr

  • As part of this collaboration, industry-standard Chainlink services such as Data Feeds and the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) will be integrated on Aptos.

  • This collaboration will mark the first integration of Chainlink CCIP and Data Feeds on a Move-based network.

  • The partnership will equip Aptos ecosystem builders with the mission-critical tools and industry-leading data they need to build feature-rich dApps.

Today, Aptos Foundation announced that they have put Aptos—a next-gen layer-1 blockchain built on the Move programming language—forward to join the Chainlink SCALE program. As part of this collaboration, industry-standard Chainlink services such as Data Feeds and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) will be integrated on Aptos.

With Chainlink, developers on Aptos will receive a trusted all-in-one solution for building dApps, creating a seamless and simplified user experience with cross-chain capabilities.

The Chainlink SCALE initiative is built to accelerate the growth of on-chain ecosystems like Aptos’ sustainably. The program provides blockchain ecosystems with increased access to Chainlink’s high-quality, low-cost oracle services by enabling them to cover operating costs for a period of time. As the on-chain ecosystems in the program mature, the operating costs of oracle networks can transition toward being fully covered by dApp user fees.

With this partnership, developers building on Aptos will be equipped with low-cost, secure Chainlink Web3 services that are mission-critical for building feature-rich dApps, and gain increased access to industry-leading data.

“The Aptos ecosystem prioritizes users and developers by providing both groups with best-in-class tools and applications on-chain,” said Bashar Lazaar, Grants and Ecosystem Lead at Aptos Foundation. “Joining the Chainlink SCALE program will empower developers on Aptos with new and increased access to Chainlink services, expanding the toolkit of resources on Aptos available to help them build secure, scalable, and fully-featured dApps that can deliver value in EVM and non-EVM environments.”

“We’re pleased that Aptos Foundation has joined the Chainlink SCALE program to help empower developers with industry-standard Chainlink services and accelerate the adoption of its layer-1 blockchain,” stated Thodoris Karakostas, Head of Blockchain Partnerships at Chainlink Labs.  “We’re glad to welcome the Aptos ecosystem into SCALE and enable the Aptos Foundation to ensure Aptos ecosystem projects have access to the tools needed to build highly scalable, feature-rich, and secure applications.”

Chainlink is the industry-standard decentralized computing platform powering the verifiable web. Chainlink has enabled over $10 trillion in transaction value by providing financial institutions, startups, and developers worldwide with access to real-world data, offchain computation, and secure cross-chain interoperability across any blockchain. Chainlink powers verifiable applications and high-integrity markets for banking, DeFi, global trade, gaming, and other major sectors.
